Shop promotion in ChatGPT and Google’s AI search
Choose your sector — we’ll show you an example of what AI tells your customers
When a shopper asks ChatGPT or Gemini where to buy a good bottle of wine as a gift, AI decides for itself who to recommend. Here’s how it starts recommending you.
A shopper asks AI: “What wine should I buy as a gift in Manchester?” The answer names three places, and your shop isn’t one of them. You don’t see this: these conversations never reach your analytics or your CRM.
Every day we put your customers’ questions to ChatGPT, Gemini and Google’s AI search. We show you who gets recommended instead of you and which websites the answers rely on.
What to change on your website and where to get listed, so AI has something to cite. Do it yourself or together with IWIS.
Your brand starts appearing in the answers — and you see it in your daily report.

Enter your brand and a question — ChatGPT will answer right now, just as it answers your customers.
Want to see this every day — in ChatGPT, Gemini and Google’s AI search? A free week, no payment or commitment.
See how often AI names you and your competitors, what it gets wrong about you, and where to start: prioritised steps, backed by evidence.
Get featured in “10 best wine shops in Manchester” — AI cites it when recommending your competitors Cellar 12 and Bottle & Barrel.
By priority: what matters most for whether AI recommends “The Wine Shelf”.
The brands and figures in this example are illustrative. Your report will show your competitors, your customers’ questions and a plan made for you.
AI answers a little differently every time, even to the same question. So we never draw conclusions from a single answer: we put the same questions to ChatGPT, Gemini and Google’s AI search every day, from your city and in your language, and count how often you’re recommended over a week or a month.
GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) means working on AI assistants mentioning and recommending your brand. AI Visibility shows the starting point and the plan: which questions customers ask, who AI recommends instead of you, which websites it relies on and what it gets wrong about you. Then concrete steps: which pages to create or update, where to appear, what to correct. Do it yourself or with the IWIS team — the daily answers show what changed.

Google AI Overviews — the short AI summary Google shows above the usual search results. Google AI Mode — a separate search mode where Google answers like a chat assistant. Both are added at the same price as ChatGPT and Gemini. Google doesn’t show an AI summary for every search — when it doesn’t, we say so.
Next to the AI answers — how people find you in regular Google: impressions, clicks and the searches that bring visitors to your website. You can see whether changes from your action plan also show up in regular search.

Discuss implementationYes, especially when the question is about a city or a neighbourhood. AI relies on Google Maps, local round-ups and your website. The service shows exactly who it recommends and why.
Mentions on sites AI trusts: round-ups, reviews, ratings, and accurate details about your range and delivery. The report lists those sites and gives you a plan for where to start.
Both scenarios: “where to buy nearby” and “where to order with delivery”. We choose questions based on how your customers actually search.
Both, but the main thing is the action plan. Every day we put your customers’ questions to ChatGPT, Gemini and Google’s AI search and see who they recommend, which websites they rely on and what they get wrong about you. From that we build a prioritised list of steps: which rankings and media to get into, what to correct, which page to create, where to collect reviews. Mark a step “Done” and you’ll see how the answers changed before and after.
Google shows ten links and the customer scrolls through them. AI gives one ready-made answer and names only a few brands — a shortlist instead of a page of results. If you’re not on it, the customer simply never hears of you. The methods are similar to SEO: content on your website, mentions on authoritative sites, reviews. But AI weighs different sources, so they need to be checked separately.
Not from a single answer — which is why we don’t rely on one. We ask the same questions every day, from your city and in your language, and count how often you’re recommended over a week or a month. You see a trend, not a fluke. Every figure expands into the actual AI answers and the websites they cited.
Honestly: nobody can yet calculate exactly how many sales each AI answer brought in, and we don’t promise that. What you can see: in Google Analytics 4, visits from chatgpt.com, gemini.google.com and other AI assistants appear as a separate traffic source, so you can track whether they grow after your changes. With the Search Console integration you also see impressions and clicks in regular Google alongside. And the logic is simple: if AI recommends a competitor, the customer goes there without ever hearing about you.
We ask questions in your customers’ language — English, German, Ukrainian, Polish or Russian — as if someone were searching from your city or country. So we can track brands wherever they operate.
Yes, if you’d like. IWIS is an agency: we’ll write and update pages on your website, prepare and place articles, and correct outdated information in your listings. It’s a separate service, priced after a week of monitoring, once the plan is clear. Nobody can guarantee that AI will start recommending you. But we check every step against the same daily answers.
We track those too. Google AI Overviews is the AI summary above the usual search results; Google AI Mode is a separate AI search mode. We check the real Google page from your city and in your language. Google doesn’t show an AI summary for every search — when it doesn’t, we say exactly that: “Google showed no AI answer”, rather than counting it as an error.
$5 a month per question per source, checked daily. 10 questions in ChatGPT and Gemini every day — $100 a month. Google AI Overviews and AI Mode are added the same way, at the same price. Checking twice a week is 60% cheaper, weekly 75% cheaper. Large volumes get up to 20% off. The minimum plan is $30 a month. Your first week is free, with all four sources. The Search Console integration is free if you pay for 3 months or more; on monthly billing it’s $50 a month.
Just your website address. We don’t need access to your website or analytics: everything else comes from the AI answers. If you like, we’ll connect Google Search Console (read-only access) so you can see how people find you in regular Google. Your data is visible only to you and the people you invite to your dashboard.
If you decide to continue, you choose a plan and monitoring carries on without a break. If not, we stop collecting new data, and everything gathered so far stays in your dashboard. No payment, no commitment.
A free week: answers from AI assistants and Google’s AI search, your competitors and your first action plan. We handle the setup within one working day. No payment, no commitment.
